KCARAT Inc. and its affiliates respect privacy of its customers. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share personal information. This policy applies to the personal information that we collect about you in the United States; including but not limited to data collected though our website, mobile applications, exhibitions, etc. We utilize this information to improve our customer’s shopping experience, and to communicate with them about our products, promotions, and services. We do not sell any personal information to any other non-affiliated agency or company. However as described in detail below we may share your information with business partners that assist us in fulfilling your order, providing a service, or help in functioning of our website.
The policy also provides details regarding the choices that you can make regarding your personal information and how we can use that to contact you for promotions and updates.
What information we collect and how we use it
When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, shipping and billing address, telephone number, email address, and payment card information in order to process and ship your order.
Email List (if applicable): If you choose to get email updates by signing up, we may use your contact information to send updates regarding our products, promotions, exhibitions, surveys, and services.
My KCARAT account: You can create a personal shopping account with KCARAT, which allows you to shop easier and faster and access order history. Customers can access their account using an email and password of their choice anytime to add, change, or delete personal information. In creating this account, customers allow KCARAT to store their personal information. Customer is responsible for logging out of their account if they are using a public computer to access their account.
Information we collect automatically:
Cookies: When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information about your browser and operating system for system administration purposes. We use information collected from cookies to improve our website and to deliver more customized and better service. They provide information regarding landing page, referrer, number of visits, number of visits by a single customer, information about the contents of your cart, information to determine if the current visitor has access.
We have listed the information we collect via cookies so you that you can choose if you want to opt-out of cookies or not. You may refuse to accept cookies via browser settings. However, doing so can result in limited ability to access certain parts of our website and certain services.

How can you withdraw your consent: If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at anytime, by contacting us at clientservices@kcarat.com. Please allow 10 business days from the receipt of such request for removal to complete.
Security:
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with an AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
Disclosure:
We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.
Others with whom your information may be shared:
We share your information with outside companies that help us in bringing our products and services to you. Example: We work with an outside company to utilize an online e-commerce platform; provide data storage, provide database management and maintenance, help us with data collection and direct marketing, provide customer service, provide other services for analysis and maximizing business prospective, etc. For the e-commerce platform and services your data is stored on a secure server behind a firewall.
Payments: While using a payment gateway, your credit card data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
